Section 12-41-19 - Hearings on complaint

The hearing for the purpose of taking evidence upon a complaint shall be conducted by hearings officer designated by the board, unless the board or any member thereof presides. At any time, the board may designate a hearings officer to take the place of the hearings officer previously designated. Hearings may be adjourned from time to time in the discretion of the board and hearings may be held at such places as the board shall designate. The hearings shall be public unless otherwise ordered by the board.
