Section 11-99-1 - Purpose

This subchapter establishes minimum requirements for the protection of health, welfare, and safety of residents, personnel, and the public in small intermediate care facilities for the mentally retarded, and shall not be construed as lowering standards, ordinances, or rules established by other government agencies. In all instances the more stringent rules shall apply.
