Section 11-95-4 - License revocation
(a) The director, after due notice, and after suitable opportunity for a hearing, may suspend, revoke, or refuse to issue or renew a license to any governing body because of failure to meet:
(1) The requirements of this chapter; or
(2) The conditions under which the license was issued.
(b) Any governing body affected by the director's decision for denial, suspension, or revocation may appeal in accordance with chapter 91, HRS.
(c) When a license has been revoked, or when a license has not been renewed, an application for a new license shall not be accepted until a period of one year has passed from the time of the revocation or refusal to renew.
