Section 11-93-61 - Medical director(a) The medical director shall develop appropriate written policies and procedures to provide the necessary preventive, diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients in order to achieve the objectives of the facility.(b) The medical director shall cooperate with the administrator to: (1) Approve appropriate staff and professional educational programs; and(2) Recommend to the governing body the names of physicians and midwives to be appointed to the professional staff.(c) The medical director shall monitor and supervise all medical and nursing procedures and policies.[Eff.
