Section 11-881-19 - Suspension, reduction (decrease, or termination of division services(a) A participant may appeal the suspension, reduction (decrease), or termination of division services by submitting a request for: (1) An informal review; or(2) An administrative hearing; or(3) An informal review and an administrative hearing.(b) An informal review is an opportunity to discuss the division action with the division and to provide additional information not previously provided to the division that may support reconsideration of the division action. (1) A request for an informal review shall be in writing, but shall be made within fifteen (15) working days of the date indicated on the notice of division action.(2) The division shall issue a written decision within thirty (30) working days from the date the division receives the request for the informal review or the informal decision whichever is later.(c) An administrative hearing is a contested case held in accordance with chapter 91, HRS, and chapter 11-1, HAR. (1) A request for an administrative hearing shall be made in writing within fifteen (15) working days of the date indicated on the notice of division action.(2) The deadline to request an administrative hearing is not extended by an applicant's request for an informal review.
