Section 11-850-71 - Cannabis(a) A dispensary licensee may dispense cannabis only in the form of dried matured processed flowers of female cannabis plants. A dispensary licensee shall not add any other ingredient to cannabis in any way.(b) A dispensary licensee shall establish and maintain written standard operating procedures for the production, manufacture, analysis, sale, security, storage, inventory tracking, transportation, and disposal of cannabis that includes but is not limited to: (1) Safe and appropriate use of equipment;(2) Effective training and monitoring of employees and subcontractors who participate in the production or sale of cannabis;(3) Adequate protocols for laboratory analysis of cannabis pursuant to this chapter; and(4) Safe and appropriate storage and disposal or destruction of cannabis at all stages of production and sale.(c) The director may require quarantine, removal, or modification of cannabis determined to present a potential health hazard.[Eff DEC 14 2015] (Auth: HRS §§ 321-9, 329D-27) (Imp: HRS §§ 329D-6, 329D-7, 329D-9, 329D-10)[Am and comp 2/24/2022] (Auth: HRS §§ 321-1, 329D-7, 329D-8, 329D-9, 329D-10) (Imp: HRS § 329D-8, SLH 2017, Act 170, §3)
