Section 11-60.1-35 - Incineration(a) No person shall cause or permit the emissions of particulate matter to exceed 0.20 pounds per one hundred pounds (two grams per kilogram) of refuse charged from any incinerator.(b) Compliance with particulate matter emissions requirements shall be determined by evaluating particulate matter emissions pursuant to 40 CFR Part 60, Appendix A-3, Method 5 or other EPA approved methods.(c) All required emission tests shall be conducted at the maximum burning capacity of the incinerator.(d) The burning capacity of an incinerator shall be the manufacturer's or designer's guaranteed maximum rate.(e) For the purposes of this section, the total of the capacities of all furnaces within one system shall be considered as the incineration capacity.Haw.
