Section 11-45-30 - Out-of-state source of radiation
(a) Before any source of radiation currently licensed by another state or the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission is brought into the State, for any temporary use, the person proposing to bring such source into the State shall give written notice to the department at least seven working days before such source is brought into the State. The notice shall include:
(1) The type of source of radiation;
(2) The nature, duration, and scope of use;
(3) The exact location(s) where the source of radiation is to be used, stored, and secured; and
(4) Copy of a license issued by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, or copy of a license issued by other states for the source of radiation.
(b) The person referred to in subsection (a) shall:
(1) Comply with all applicable rules; and
(2) Supply the department with such other information as the department may reasonably request.
