Section 11-45-6 - General requirements(a) Each licensee shall maintain records showing the receipt, transfer, and disposal of all sources of radiation. Additional record requirements are specified in these rules.(b) Each licensee shall afford the department at all reasonable times entrance to private or public property for the purpose of inspecting and investigating conditions relative to sources of radiation, physically examining sources of radiation, the premises, and the facilities wherein such sources of radiation are used or stored.(c) Each licensee shall make available to the department inspection records maintained pursuant to these rules. Copies of such records shall be submitted to the department upon request.(d) Each licensee shall perform upon instructions from the department, or shall utilize a qualified medical physicist, or shall permit the department to perform, such reasonable tests as the department deems appropriate or necessary including, but not limited to, tests of: (1) Sources of radiation;(2) Facilities wherein sources of radiation are used or stored;(3) Radiation detection and monitoring instruments; and(4) Other equipment and devices used in connection with utilization or storage of licensed sources of radiation.(e) Upon receipt of an inspection report rendered by the department, each licensee shall complete corrective action to meet the requirements of this chapter in the time period specified by the department.
