(a) No person shall install, alter, or operate an air conditioning or ventilating system without first obtaining from the department a valid permit covering the specific installation, alteration, or operation.(b) Form 1, Application for Permit, dated July 1981, located at the end of this chapter shall be used as a permit application form and permit.(c) Revocation, suspension, or denial of permit. The department may on its own motion, or on the complaint of any person, revoke, suspend, or deny a permit after notifying the permittee or applicant and offering him an opportunity to be heard.
