Section 11-175-60 - Right to the least restrictive level of service

Psychiatric facilities and residential treatment facilities shall determine the least restrictive level of service for each consumer and shall:

(1) Ensure that documentation in a consumer's clinical record includes this determination; and
(2) When a less restrictive level of service is therapeutically appropriate, provide or refer the consumer directly to the appropriate level of service.
