Rule 70-5-.08 - Recommended Cleaning and Disinfection of Implements(1) Hair should be removed from implements such as, but not limited to, shears of any type, razors, combs, lifts, picks, and brushes.(2) Implements are to be cleansed thoroughly in hot soapy water. When thoroughly cleansed, implements shall be fully submerged in a Broad Spectrum Hospital Grade disinfectant for fifteen (15) minutes.(3) Implements shall then be towel blotted and placed in a dry sanitizer until needed or may be used immediately.(4) Clippers, edgers, trimmers, and guards shall be brushed to remove hair then dipped into a Broad Spectrum Hospital Grade disinfectant; then, place item(s) on a clean towel for fifteen (15) minutes before using on the next patron.Ga.
