Rule 70-4-.02 - Use of Facility for Home Shop(1) Separate space must be provided for a barber facility.(2) Space used for a barber facility shall comply with the following: (a) must be separated by airtight adjoining walls and ceiling from residence rooms;(b) must have a separate restroom connected to a municipal sewage system or properly designed and constructed individual sewage system approved by the city, county, or state health department;(c) must have at least one shampoo bowl; and(d) must have a separate outside entrance.(3) The use of any such space for sleeping, dining or any other domestic purpose is prohibited. The barber shop and the domestic space cannot be connected by a doorway or opening.(4) Home barber shops licensed prior to the effective date of this rule are not required to comply with section (2) of this rule.Ga.
