Rule 609-2-.02 - Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist(1) A person who seeks licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist shall submit the appropriate application to the Board on forms that are available on the website or the Board office.(2) An applicant who seeks licensure as both a Speech-Language Pathologist and Audiologist shall submit a separate application for each license sought.(3) The applicant shall submit the appropriate application fee. See Fee Schedule. The application fee is non-refundable.(5) Licensure fees for approved applications are not pro-rated during the biennial licensure period.(6) If the request for licensure is approved, the applicant will be notified in writing and assigned a license number.(7) An application file will become void if it is not complete within twelve (12) months of the date of the application. PCE applications are valid for twenty-four (24) months. If, after the application becomes void, if licensure is still desired, the applicant must submit a new application, new documents and the appropriate fee.Ga. Comp. R. & Regs. R. 609-2-.02
