Rule 590-7-11-.01 - Method of Reserving Limited Partnership Name(1) A limited partnership name may be reserved by any person pursuant to the Georgia Revised Uniform Limited Partnership Act or any other statute providing for limited partnership filings with Secretary of State.(2) A limited partnership name may be reserved pursuant to the Code in the following manner: (a) By delivering an application for name reservation to the Secretary of State, Corporations Division, 2 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive, Suite 313 West Tower, Atlanta, Georgia 30334;(b) By mailing an application for name reservation to the Secretary of State at the address referred to in paragraph (2)(a) above; or(c) By electronic transmission in the manner authorized by the Division on its website.(3) An application for reservation of a name shall be accompanied by the fee specified in the Code.Ga.
