Rule 590-3-7-.26 - Motions for Reconsideration or Rehearing; Stay of Decision(1) A motion for reconsideration or rehearing of a decision or final order will be considered only if the motion is filed within ten (10) days of the entry of the decision or final order. However, the time for filing such a motion may be extended by the Hearing Officer for good cause.(2) The filing of such a motion shall not operate as a stay of enforcement of the Hearing Officer's decision or final order. But, the Hearing Officer may grant a stay upon appropriate terms, for good cause shown, if the Hearing Officer finds that the public safety and welfare will not be harmed by the issuance of a stay.(3) The Hearing Officer shall not grant a motion for rehearing until after the expiration of the period for a response by any other party.Ga.
