Rule 570-33-.02 - Enhancement and Maintenance of the Motorcycle Enforcement UnitThe Motorcycle Enforcement Unit shall use the funds derived from fines, pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 15-21-2(a)(2) and O.C.G.A. § 40-13-26, for the enhancement and maintenance of the Unit.
(a) Any and all unused funds derived from fines for maintenance and enhancement of the Unit in any given fiscal year shall be reserved for use in the Unit's budget for subsequent fiscal years.(b) The Commissioner shall have the authority to determine the size of the Unit, the equipment necessary for the proper operation of the Unit, and shall have the right to authorize and determine when maintenance and enhancement are appropriate.Ga.
