Rule 560-11-2-.42 - Designated County Appraisers-CertificationBefore salary supplements are paid to any person qualified hereunder, such person must make proper application to the State Revenue Commissioner certifying that:
(a) The applicant is employed or was employed by the county in accordance with the Act of the General Assembly which requires such employment for the applicable time period for which the salary supplement is claimed. Substantiation of such employment shall be furnished signed by the Chairman, Board of Tax Assessors and the Chairman, County Governing Authority.(b) The applicant has earned one of the designations which will qualify him for salary supplement. A copy of the certificate conferred upon the applicant shall be furnished.(c) The applicant meets all qualifications required by the Act of the General Assembly requiring such appraiser employment by the county to entitle him to be employed as full time county appraiser.Ga.
