Rule 511-3-8-.10 - Furnishings and Fixtures(1) Furnishings of the Body Art Studio shall be maintained in good condition, intact, and functional. Furnishings should be made of or covered in a material that is easily cleanable and non-absorbent.(2) All surfaces in the work area that could potentially be contaminated during a procedure must be non-porous to allow for proper cleaning. This includes but is not limited to worktables, chair mats and bases, shelving, and counters.(3) Worktables and chairs shall be provided for each body artist workstation. (a) All exposed surfaces of all worktables and chairs shall be constructed of material which is smooth, nonabsorbent, corrosive resistant, and easily sanitized.(b) All exposed surfaces of worktables and chairs shall be sanitized with an EPA registered disinfectant approved by the Health Authority after each use and between clients.Ga.
