Rule 511-1-3-.04 - Infants of Unknown Parentage: Foundling Registration(1) The report for an infant of unknown parentage shall be registered on a Certificate of Live Birth and shall: (a) Have "foundling" plainly marked in the space provided for the child's name on the certificate;(b) Show the required facts as determined by approximation and leave parentage data blank; and(c) Show the signature required and title of the custodian of the infant in lieu of the attendant.(2) When a report has been placed in a special file as provided by O.C.G.A. Section 31-10-10, only the State Registrar or his designee may inspect such information for purposes of properly administering the Vital Records program.Ga. Comp. R. & Regs. R. 511-1-3-.04
