Licensees and registrants shall be trained and instructed according to the training curriculum set out in this chapter, which training and instruction shall be provided by instructors certified by the Board.
(1) Employees shall be required to complete the training prior to providing private security or private detective services as set forth in 43-38-3(3) and (4). Record of board mandated training must be maintained in the employees' files and the employee must be provided a copy of the certificate of completion. Documentation of courses completed after January 1, 2022 require a five (5) year retention rate by the employer.(2) Temporary employees hired for special events shall receive training prior to the events. (This rule applies only to the temporary employees of persons or corporation licensed by the Board.) (3) The instruction provided to temporary employees shall comply with the requirements as established for the unarmed security personnel pursuant to the relevant rule of Georgia Board of private Detective and Security Agencies.Ga.
