Rule 464-13-.07 - Advanced Certification RequirementsEach person applying for Advanced level certification must:
(a) Possess or be able to possess the Intermediate Certificate;(b) Be a certified, registered or exempt peace officer currently employed by a Georgia Law Enforcement agency certified by the Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training Council;(c) Have at least four (4) years experience as a full-time, paid peace officer;(d) Have successfully completed the seven (7) required core courses (listed on the application) at a P.O.S.T. recognized training facility; and(e) Have a minimum twenty (20) quarter or twelve (12) semester hours from an accredited college or university.Ga.
