To minimize the degradation of the natural resources involved, the Department may require the sponsor:
(a) to ensure that sufficient solid waste containers are available to accommodate the convenient deposit of all solid waste generated by the marine event.(b) to ensure that participants and sponsor-approved concessionaires are notified of the requirements of the Georgia Litter Control Law; and(c) any other requirements deemed reasonably necessary to prevent the degradation of the natural resources. Nothing in this section shall be construed to relieve participants, spectators and sponsor-approved concessionaires of their responsibility for compliance with the Georgia Litter Control Law. Ga.
