Rule 375-3-1-.33 - Term of Receipt for Online Issuance(a) When a customer completes an online license or permit issuance event (issuance, renewal, replacement, or reinstatement), and the license status is shown as Valid, a receipt will be available for printing by the customer, and will be sent via email to the customer.(b) Said receipt may be presented to law enforcement personnel for a period of forty-five (45) days to meet the requirement of having a driver's license in the driver's immediate possession while operating a motor vehicle when valid driving privileges have been confirmed by either the Department or the Georgia Crime Information Center (GCIC), pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 40-5-29.Ga.
