Rule 205-1-2-.08 - Request for Waiver or Extension of Existing Requirements(1) Except as otherwise provided by law and for good cause shown, the Executive Director may, in the exercise of his/her discretion, grant a waiver or waivers of an existing requirement or grant a reasonable period or periods of extension of any requirement imposed on a fire department under these Rules & Regulations. All requests for waivers or extensions must be submitted in writing to the Executive Director by the fire chief of the affected department.(2) The written request must contain the following information:(a) Name, present address, and telephone number of person requesting waiver or extension, and;(b) A statement clearly outlining why the requestor feels that a waiver or extension is justified.Ga.
