In accordance with Chapter 295-15 of the Rules and Regulations of the Division Director regarding Inactive Status Licensing, a registrant may apply for inactive licensure status under the following conditions:
(1) A registrant who is over the age of 65 and retired; or who may become disabled may apply to the Board for inactive status by submitting the required application and paying the proper fees.(2) While on inactive status, a registrant is exempt from payment of the biennial renewal fee and continuing education requirements.(3) An inactive registrant may not practice professional engineering or land surveying in this State.(4) In order to reactivate an inactive license, the registrant must submit a completed application, show compliance with continuing education requirements as set forth in Rule 180-11-.08, and submit the reactivation fee as set forth by the Board.
