The Department shall provide the following administrative support for the Courts and the State Board of Pardons and Paroles as needed for sentencing and supervision:
(a) Provide records and information, including but not limited to: file creation and management; calculation of pertinent data; provide information for the preparation of Probation or Parole release plans and arranging related details; maintenance of records, ledgers, and statistics; and issuance of appropriate certificates, as required.(b) Perform appropriate administrative functions relative to the implementation of matters under Interstate Compact for supervision of Probationers and Parolees.(c) Support the courts by obtaining and providing pre-sentence investigatory information concerning those awaiting sentence and, as applicable, by arranging for Probation supervision in other states. Similar data shall be collected and provided to Probation officers in other states in support of their supervision of Georgia probationers residing in such other state under the provisions of the Interstate Compact for the Supervision of Probationers.(d) Maintain pertinent records concerning all individuals placed on probation in Georgia under the Department's supervision.Ga.
