Rule 120-3-25-.10 - Existing Freight Elevators(1) Existing freight elevators shall comply with the following descriptions: (a) Freight elevators with operating stations in the car, which allow personnel to ride shall comply with ASME A17.3, the standards for existing elevators.(b) Material Lifts (other than those that fall under the requirements of ASME A17.1) that do not allow personnel to ride and does not have an operating station in the car, shall comply with ASME B20.1, the standards for conveyors and related equipment.Ga.
