Section 69K-14.013 - Attendance of Meetings by Board MembersUnexcused absences of a board member are absences not due to the following situations:
(1) Medical problems of a board member or a board member's family including but limited to illness, surgery, emergency care and/or hospitalization.(2) Death of a family member and/or attendance at the family member's funeral.(3) Any conflict, extraordinary circumstance, or event approved by the chairman of the board.Fla.
