Section 6A-14.029 - Staff and Program Development(1) Each Florida College System institution shall adopt policies on staff and program development. Each Florida College System institution shall identify within its annual operating budget funding to support staff and program development activities as defined herein, as well as activities to achieve its goals for implementation of its Educational Equity Act plan and other related EA/EO activities.(2) Staff and program development plans and activities shall follow the definitions herein. (a) Staff development is the improvement of staff performance through activities which update or upgrade competence specified for present or planned positions. Staff includes all college employees.(b) Program development is the evaluation and improvement of existing programs, including the design of evaluation instruments to establish bases for improvements, as well as the designing of new programs.Fla.
