Section 58C-1.007 - Co-payments and Contributions(1) Contracting agencies that enter into a contract to provide services under the Community Care for the Elderly program are responsible for collection of co-payments and contributions from clients receiving services.(2) The contracting agency must determine a dollar amount that the applicant must be assessed for those services based on an overall ability to pay. Partial payments may also be assessed.(3) Pursuant to Section 430.204(8), F.S., the dollar amount must be calculated by applying the current federal poverty guidelines published annually by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.Fla.
