Rule 8-B440 - TRAVEL ON OFFICIAL BUSINESS: GENERAL PROVISIONS
440.1

Non-appropriated funds shall not be used to supplement appropriated funds in paying travel or official business expenses.

440.2

Travel and business expenses for a single trip or event may be charged to either appropriated funds or non-appropriated funds, but funds from both sources shall not be combined and used for any single trip or event.

440.3

The use of non-appropriated funds to cover travel and other business expenses shall be subject to the same dollar limitations as the use of appropriated funds; Provided, that one hundred percent (100%) of the travel and official business expenses of the members of the Board and the President may be paid from non-appropriated funds.

440.4

The provisions of §§ 440 through 445 of this chapter shall govern the authorization of travel and reimbursement of all official business expenses charged against non-appropriated funds. The authorization of travel and reimbursement of all official business expenses charged against appropriated funds shall be governed by the provisions of Title 1 DCMR, chapter 8.
