Rule 8-A701 - STUDENT GOVERNMENT
701.1

The student body may provide for a student government organization to represent the interests of students and act as an advocate for the rights and interests of students.

701.2

The student government organization shall be recognized by the Board of Governors upon presentation to the Board of the organizational statement and bylaws of the student government in the manner set forth in § 700.

701.3

The activities of the student government organization may be financed, in whole or in part, by the student activity fee. The organization shall prepare and submit an annual budget to the Dean or the Dean's designee for approval by the Board as part of the annual budget process.
