Rule 8-A203 - TRANSFER BETWEEN THE FULL-TIME AND PART-TIME PROGRAMS
203.1

A student enrolled in the part-time program may transfer to the full-time program in any semester after completion of the first year of the part-time program, including Summer courses. The student must pre-register for the full-time program, in accordance with the pre-registration procedures of the School of Law.

203.2

A student who transfers to the full-time program must meet all of the requirements for completion of the full-time program that are in effect at the time of the transfer, including all required courses, clinics, and other full-time program graduation requirements not completed in the part-time program. All grades, credits, and quality points earned in the part-time program shall be transferred and become a part of the student's full-time program academic record.

203.3

A student enrolled in the full-time program may apply for permission to transfer to the part-time program. The Dean or the Dean's designee shall grant permission to transfer from the full-time program to the part-time program only for compelling reasons. The decision to grant permission for the transfer shall be in writing and shall state the reasons for allowing the transfer. A student granted permission to transfer must pre-register for the part-time program, in accordance with the pre-registration procedures of the School of Law.

203.4

A student who transfers to the part-time program must meet all of the requirements for completion of the part-time program that are in effect at the time of the transfer, including all required courses, clinics, and other part-time program graduation requirements not completed in the full-time program.
