In the event of death, resignation, or removal of a Board trustee before completion of his or her term, where the remainder of the term is greater than six (6) months, the Board shall authorize the election official to conduct a special election to elect a successor trustee to serve for the remainder of the trustee's term. The election shall be conducted in substantial conformity with the procedures set forth in these Rules.
