Any days required to be counted shall be counted commencing with the day after the date referenced in the rule, or, if a decision is issued, the date after the certificate of service attached to the decision issued by the Program or hearing forum.
If the deadline for any activity falls on a Sunday, Saturday, legal holiday, or a day that is normally a business day but on which the District government is otherwise closed, such as for snow or other emergency, the deadline will be continued to the next business day.
Whenever it is not specified by the plain language of the rule, the term "day" or "days" shall mean "calendar day" or "calendar days."
For the purposes of the Act and this chapter, a form or required document is deemed timely filed if it is received by the Program by the due date.
