A public charter school shall establish standards for student promotion or progression in the charter school. Such standards, however, shall not be less than the standards for promotion in the District of Columbia Public School System.
Standards for student promotion or progression in a public charter school shall reflect high expectations for academic achievement.
Standards for student promotion or progression must be clearly communicated to faculty, staff, students, and parents.
