Rule 4-718 - FAILURE OF CONCILIATION AND CERTIFICATION TO COMMISSION
718.1

If conciliation efforts fail, the Director shall certify the complaint to the Commission and shall serve written notice on the parties that conciliation efforts were not successful.

718.2

The notice required by § 718.1 shall be served in the name of the Commission, together with a copy of the complaint or amended complaint, and require the respondent to answer the charges at a public hearing before one or more members of the Commission or before an Administrative Law Judge. The notice shall be served by registered or certified mail, return receipt requested, or by personal service.

718.3

The hearing before the Commission or an Administrative Law Judge shall be scheduled not less than ten (10) days or not more than thirty (30) days after service of notice and at a place to be specified in the notice.
