Rule 3-4108 - USE OF SURPLUS FUNDS

4108.1

Any balance in the exploratory committee fund shall be transferred only to an established political committee or nonprofit organization, within the meaning of Section 501(c) of the Internal Revenue Code, operation in good standing in the District for a minimum of one (1) year before the date of any transfer.

4108.2

All contributions and fund balances of any exploratory committee shall not be deemed the personal funds of any individual, including the prospective candidate of the exploratory committee.
