Rule 3-200 - ESTABLISHMENT AND AUTHORITY OF THE BOARD OF ELECTIONS
200.1

Pursuant to the District of Columbia Government Comprehensive Merit Personnel Act of 1978, as amended (D.C. Official Code §§ 1-601.01et seq.), the Board of Elections is the personnel authority for its employees, with the exception of employees of the Office of Campaign Finance. The Board is vested with the authority to implement rules for the employees over which it has personnel authority. D.C. Official Code § 1-604.06(a).

200.2

Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, Board members and all employees, regardless of service classification, shall be governed by personnel regulations issued by the Mayor and codified in Title 6-B of the D.C. Municipal Regulations.
