Rule 29-6400 - GENERAL PROVISIONS

6400.1

The purpose of this Chapter is to establish standards governing the administration of the Medicaid Section 1115 Health Care Reform Demonstration for individuals with HIV (the "Demonstration Project"), as authorized under § 1115 of the Social Security Act.

6400.2

The Demonstration Project term shall be from May 28, 2004 until August 31, 2009.

6400.3

The Demonstration Project shall not be construed as an entitlement and may be terminated at any time by the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), or by the District of Columbia.
