An applicant shall apply for a permanent guardianship subsidy by filing an application with CFSA. The application shall:
In determining whether an applicant is eligible for a permanent guardianship subsidy, CFSA shall determine first whether the applicant is eligible to be appointed permanent guardian and consider each of the factors listed in § 6101.1.
CFSA may not determine that an applicant is eligible for a permanent guardianship subsidy unless it determines that the person meets each of the factors listed in § 6101.1.
If CFSA determines that a person is not eligible to be appointed permanent guardian, CFSA need not consider whether the applicant is financially eligible to receive a permanent guardianship subsidy.
CFSA shall complete its review of the application and make its decision within thirty (30) days of receipt of the completed application.
A person approved to receive a permanent guardianship subsidy may begin to receive the permanent guardianship subsidy immediately after the court makes an order awarding permanent guardianship.
