A women is determined to need treatment for breast or cervical cancer, if in the opinion of the women's treating health care professional, the diagnostic evaluation following the clinical screening, indicates that the patient is in need of treatment. Women who are determined by the health care professional to require routine monitoring services for precancerous breast or cervical conditions or diseases, are not considered to need treatment.
