By operation of law and the application of procedures described in Section 822 of the Act, after January 1, 2019, for each false claim or fraudulent claim described in the Act the amount of the civil penalty a person is liable to the District shall be not less than Eleven Thousand One Hundred Eighty-One Dollars ($11,181.00) and not more than Twenty-Two Thousand Three Hundred Sixty-Three Dollars ($22,363.00).
