Rule 26-A1600 - PURPOSE

1600.1

The purposes of these regulations are: to set forth rules and procedural requirements which the Commissioner deems necessary to carry out the provisions of the Holding Company System Regulatory Act of the 1983, D.C Law 10-4, hereinafter referred to as "the Act". The information called for by these regulations is hereby declared to be necessary and appropriate in the public interest and for the protection of the policyholders in the District of Columbia.
