A licensee shall, at the time of inspection, correct a critical violation immediately when possible, except as specified in § 617.2.
Critical violations that cannot be corrected on-site during the course of an inspection shall be corrected within five (5) calendar days after the inspection.
The Department may consider the nature of the potential hazard involved and the complexity of the corrective action needed and agree to specify a longer time frame for correcting a violation.
Failure to correct violations in accordance with this section may subject a licensee to summary suspension of license pursuant to § 707, revocation or suspension of a license pursuant to § 712, the issuance of Notice of Infractions pursuant to § 900, and civil penalties pursuant to § 901.
