Failure to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter shall be grounds for the revocation or suspension of any license issued for a food establishment pursuant to An Act Relating to the adulteration of foods and drugs in the District of Columbia, approved February 17, 1898, (30 Stat. 246; D.C. Official Code §§ 48-101, et seq. (2009 Repl. & 2011 Supp.)). When there is a history of repeated violations or where a license has been previously suspended, the Mayor may revoke a license, upon a showing of a subsequent violation.
