Rule 21-2200 - PURPOSE AND SCOPE
2200.1

The purpose of the rules in this chapter is to provide enforcement procedures for the water pollution control Act of 1984. These rules are developed pursuant to §§ 17, 18 and 19 of D.C. Law 5-188, the Water Pollution Control Act of 1984 and apply to the Act and the rules promulgated pursuant to the Act.

If any provision of this chapter, or the application of any provision of this chapter to any person or circumstance, is held invalid in a court of law, the remainder of this chapter and its application to any other persons or circumstances shall not be affected.
