Rule 20-2500 - GENERAL ADMINISTRATIVE AND ENFORCEMENT AUTHORITY2500.1This chapter applies to the administration and enforcement of the Pesticide Operations Act of 1977, effective April 18, 1978, as amended (D.C. Law 2-70; D.C. Official Code §§ 8-401et seq.), and of the rules promulgated to carry out the provisions of the Act, set forth in Title 20, Chapters 22 through 25 of the District of Columbia Municipal Regulations.
2500.2The District Department of the Environment may cooperate, receive grants-in-aid, and enter into agreements with any agency of the federal government or the District, or with any agency of a state, to obtain assistance in the implementation of the Pesticide Operations Act of 1977, effective April 18, 1978, as amended (D.C. Law 2-70; D.C. Official Code §§ 8-401et seq.); the Pesticide Operation Regulations, Chapters 22 through 25 of this title; or in the enforcement of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA).
