For the purpose of this section, "revenue generating activity" shall be defined as operations conducted by DCPL that produce income by providing services that benefit the public, but need not relate to library services.
Revenue generating activities shall be approved by the Board of Library Trustees or designee in writing prior to execution of the activity.
Revenue from revenue generating activities shall be deposited in the DCPL Revenue Generating Activities Fund established pursuant to D.C. Official Code § 39 -105(a)(15).
All funds deposited into the Revenue Generating Activities Fund shall be spent prior to the end of the fiscal year in which it was received.
